Installation & Getting Started
Wyverix ships as a single-file installation; it requires no external Docker or separate database. On first launch the Setup Wizard guides you step by step and the embedded MariaDB is provisioned automatically.
Initial setup steps
- 1Run the installer
Run the Wyverix installer .exe; the embedded MariaDB Windows service (port 3307) is installed and started automatically.
- 2Upload the license
In the Setup Wizard, upload your license (.lic) file or start with a trial. The license determines the active package(s) and feature scope.
- 3Create the first administrator
Set an administrator (admin) username and a strong password. You can enable 2FA right away if you wish.
- 4Wait for database provisioning
Tables and migrations are applied automatically; the system passes the DB and analyzer health checks.
- 5Finish
The setup flag is saved; the wizard never opens again. You are redirected to the console.
After first login
- The onboarding tour walks new users through the main features.
- Language (TR/EN) can be selected from the top right.
- The version banner and Settings → Updates let you check/download/apply new releases.
Tips
- Port 3307 was chosen to avoid clashing with an existing MySQL; it is bound to localhost only.
- On mandatory updates the banner cannot be dismissed; an update channel can be configured organization-wide.
